三流板坯中间包控流装置优化物理模拟研究及应用

摘要 创新性提出新型中间包控流装置-分流岛。通过物理模拟实验,研究了三流板坯连铸机采用不同分流岛、挡墙、挡坝及湍流控制器组合时中间包内钢液流动的特性。通过实验找到了本工程三流板坯中间包优化的控流装置。采用该控流装置组合有效地均衡了各流钢水流动,改善中间包内钢水流动形态,延长钢水在中间包内平均停留时间,降低死区比例,缩小边流与中间流之间钢水流动及温度的差异,实现了均匀各流钢水成分和温度,提高钢水纯净度,保障工艺顺行。项目投产后,生产稳定,最大日产铸坯10 890 t/d,平均日产量10 000 t/d。生产厚度200 mm铸坯时,稳定工作拉速可达到1.8 m/min。各流铸坯质量优良,实现三流板坯连铸机的建设初衷。三流板坯连铸机是大转炉匹配中窄宽度板坯生产的理想选择。 A new tundish flow control device-shunting island was innovatively proposed.The flow characteristics of molten steel in tundish of three-strand slab continuous casting machine with different shunting island,wall,dam and turbulent flow controller were studied by physical simulation experiments.Through experiments,the flow control device optimized for the three-strand slab tundish of this project is found.The combination of the flow control device can effectively balance the flow of molten steel in each flow,improve the flow pattern of molten steel in the tundish,extend the average residence time of molten steel in the tundish,reduce the proportion of dead zone,narrow the difference of mol-ten steel flow and temperature between the side strand and the intermediate strand,and achieve uniform composition and temperature of molten steel in each strand.Improve the purity of molten steel,ensure the process running.After the project was put into operation,the production was stable,the maximum daily output of casting slab was 10890 t/d,and the average daily output was 10000/d.When the thickness of 200 mm casting slab is produced,the stable working casting speed can reach 1.8 m/min.The quality of each flow casting billet is excellent,which realizes the original intention of the construction of three-strand slab casting machine.The three-strand slab caster is an ideal choice for the production of narrow width slab in large converter.
