摘要
干眼症(DED)是多因素导致的慢性炎症性眼表疾病,已经成为全球性的公共卫生问题。目前对DED的诊断以及疗效评估主要依赖于临床症状、体征和问卷调查,而近年来代谢组学及脂质组学技术在泪液代谢产物中的应用为DED的相关研究提供了新思路。代谢产物是细胞内基因、mRNA及蛋白质进行代谢活动的中间产物或最终产物,有助于精确临床诊断、评估疾病预后、监测疾病进展以及选择治疗方案。代谢组学及脂质组学对生物系统的代谢变化进行多维分析,精确且充分的识别机体代谢产物改变,是一门具有广阔前景的新兴学科。但DED相关代谢组学及脂质组学的研究报道较为有限,本文旨在回顾泪液代谢组学及脂质组学在分析DED相关泪液代谢产物中的应用。
Dry eye disease(DED)is a multifactorial,chronic inflammatory disease and becoming an important global public health problem.Currently,the diagnosis of DED was based on clinical signs,symptoms,and questionnaires.Nevertheless,the application of metabolomics-base and lipidomics-based metabolite analysis has provided novel approaches for DED research.Metabolites are intermediates or end products produced by the biological metabolism of intracellular DNAs,mRNAs,and proteins,and assist in clinical diagnosis,prognostic assessment,the monitoring of disease progression as well as the selection of treatment strategies.metabolomics and lipidomics are promising and emerging disciplines that can perform multidimensional analysis of changes in intracellular metabolites,and accurately and comprehensively identify metabolite alterations.However,Less research has focused on DED-related metabolomics.This article aims to review the analysis of tear metabolomics in DED based on metabolomics and lipidomics methods.
