摘要
随着高校图书馆信息化建设的高速发展,图书馆业务活动产生了海量数据,采集与图书馆服务绩效相关的数据是图书馆开展统计工作的基础。北京工业大学图书馆参考教育部高校图书馆事实数据库统计指标体系,并结合各地方高校图书馆事实数据库统计指标,对图书馆管理、服务与业务工作生产的数据进行了采集、整理、保存及维护,设计和建设了图书馆数据中心,对数据展开分析挖掘,并应用于图书馆分析决策、学科建设、用户画像等工作。数据中心的建设和投入运行,在反映图书馆运行概况、衡量服务效能、科学规划未来发展等方面发挥了应有的作用。
With the rapid development of information construction of university library,a large amount of data has been produced in library business activities. Collecting data related to library service performance is the basis of library statistical work. The library of Beijing University of Technology refers to the fact database of university library statistical indicator system of the Ministry of Education,combined with the statistical index of the fact database by local university libraries,collects,integrates,saves and maintains the data of library management,service and business work production,designs and constructs the library data center,then analyzes and mines the data,and applies it to library analysis and decision-making,discipline construction,user portrait,etc. The construction and operation of the data center have played a due role in reflecting the operation profile of the library,measuring the service efficiency,and scientifically planning the future development.
