Objective To analyze the etiological characteristics and drug resistance of puerperal infection in our hospital,so as to provide reference for clinical work. Methods The clinical data of 40 patients with puerperal infection were retrospectively analyzed, and the characteristics and drug resistance of pathogenic bacteria in puerperal infection patients were analyzed. Results A total of 24 strains were detected in 40 patients with puerperal infection,of which 19 strains(79.17%)were Gram-negative bacteria, among which 16 strains were Escherichia coli,7 strains were positive for ultra-broad spectrum β-lactamase(ESBL),and 9 strains were negative for ESBL.There were 5 strains of Gram-positive bacteria(20.83%),including 2 strains of Streptococcus agalactiae(8.33%).The drug sensitivity results showed that the drug resistance rate oiEscherichia coli to cefuroxime was the highest(43.75%).The drug resistance rate to ceftriaxone and cefepime was 37.50%and 31.25%,respectively.No resistance to imipenem, cefoxitin, ampicillin, piperacillin, tazobactam and levofloxacin was found. Conclusion The pathogenic characteristics of puerperal infection in our hospital are mainly Gram-negative bacteria, among which Escherichia coli is the most common. In clinical practice, targeted drug use should be carried out according to the characteristics of hospital drug sensitivity in order to obtain ideal income.
