摘要
终身学习从其内涵来看,是以个体生命成长为主旨,一生自觉自愿进行的各种学习理念与实践的总和。从外延来看,凡对个体持续一生的学习具有正面精神引领作用的理念和具体的实践都属于终身学习。终身学习具有主动性、发展性、选择性、灵活性、体验性、社会性、普遍性和永久性等特征。终身学习与成人学习、终生学习、终身教育、成人教育、继续教育、社会教育等相关概念既有联系,又有区别。
From the connotation, lifelong learning is a kind of self-initiated education that covers every stage in the lifecycle of a person, paying close attention to the growth of human life. From the extension, all concepts and practices in a person’s continued learning for a lifetime that have a positive influence belong to lifelong learning. Lifelong learning is learner-driven, developmental,flexible, experiential, with other characteristics of selectivity, sociality, universality and permanence. It is worth noting that there are connections and differences among lifelong learning and adult learning, life-long learning, lifelong education, adult education,continuing education, and social education.
