摘要
就业是高质量发展的重要指标,是最大的民生,也是中国达成共同富裕目标的关键。现有文献就人工智能对就业数量的影响进行了大量探讨,但对于人工智能在就业质量层面的影响却较少关注。基于人工智能促进高质量就业的机理,采用2010—2019年中国省级面板数据,实证检验了人工智能对中国高质量就业的促进作用。实证研究结果表明:人工智能可以有效促进中国高质量就业,并且这一结论在解决了内生性问题和更换估计方法后仍然是稳健的。从地区看,相较于东部地区,中西部地区人工智能促进就业质量提升的作用更加明显。从时段看,人工智能促进中国高质量就业在时间维度上并未表现出显著的非线性效应。根据研究结论,提出了进一步发展人工智能促进中国高质量就业的政策建议。
Employment is an important indicator of high-quality development,the greatest livelihood of the people,and the key to achieve the goal of common prosperity in China.Existing literature has conducted extensive discussions on the impact of artificial intelligence on the number of jobs,but less attention has been paid to the impact of artificial intelligence on the quality of employment.This paper first expounds the mechanism by which artificial intelligence promotes high-quality employment,and then empirically examines the impact of artificial intelligence on the quality of employment using 2010—2019 Chinese provincial panel data.The empirical research results show that artificial intelligence can effectively promote high-quality employment in China,and this conclusion is still robust after solving the endogeneity problem and changing the estimation method.From a regional perspective,compared with the eastern region,the role of artificial intelligence in promoting the quality of employment in the central and western regions is more obvious.From the perspective of time period,the promotion of high-quality employment by artificial intelligence in China does not show a significant nonlinear effect in the time dimension.According to the research conclusions, policy recommendations are put forward to further develop artificial intelligence so that it can promote China’s high-quality employment.
