浑善达克沙地东南缘地下水埋深对植被盖度的影响 被引量:3

Effect of groundwater depth on vegetation coverage in southeastern margin of Otindag Sandy Land

摘要 位于浑善达克沙地东南缘的正蓝旗,常年降水量不足350mm,蒸发强烈,水分是该区域植物生长的限制因子,在地下水浅埋区,地下水为植被生长创造了有利条件,因此研究植被与地下水的相互关系,对该区生态保护有着重要意义。前人针对浑善达克沙地植被与地下水的关系研究,多是采用样方调查方法,研究某一特定物种生长分布依赖地下水的程度。文中探索在区域尺度上,地下水埋深如何影响正蓝旗植被分布特征。选用增强型植被指数EVI来描述该区域植被生长状况,用统计模型的方法对该区地下水埋深和植被指数开展研究,确定了该区域植被指数对地下水埋深的依赖程度。结果表明:在地下水埋深小于1.5m,随地下水埋深增加植被覆盖度递增,这与研究区地下水浅埋区(湖岸滩地)盐碱化有关;在地下水埋深介于1.5m与8m之间时,随地下水埋深增加植被覆盖度呈指数递减;地下水埋深大于8m时,植被覆盖度随地下水埋深增加不再有大的变化,表明植被覆盖度不再受地下水影响。 Zhenglan Banner is located in the southeast margin of Otindag Sandy Land, where the annual precipitation is less than 350 mm and evaporation is intense, so water is a limiting factor for plant growth in this region. In shallow groundwater areas, groundwater creates favorable conditions for vegetation growth. Therefore, study of the relationship between vegetation and groundwater is of great significance to the ecological protection of the region. Previous studies on the relationship between vegetation and groundwater in Otindag Sandy Land mostly used the method of quadrat survey to study the degree of dependence of growth and distribution of a particular species on groundwater. In this research we explore how groundwater depth affects vegetation distribution in Zhenglan Banner at regional scale. The enhanced vegetation index EVI was used to describe the vegetation growth in this region, and the groundwater depth and vegetation index were studied by statistical model, and the dependence of vegetation index on groundwater depth was determined. The results show that when the groundwater depth is less than 1.5 m, the fractional vegetation cover(FVC) increases with the increase of groundwater depth, which is related to the salinization of shallow groundwater(lakeside beach) in the study area. When the groundwater depth is between 1.5 m and 8 m, FVC decreases exponentially with the increase of groundwater depth. When groundwater depth is greater than 8 m, FVC does not change greatly with the increase of groundwater depth, indicating that vegetation coverage is no longer affected by groundwater in such depth.
