摘要
偏光玻璃是通过将长粒状金属纳米颗粒以同一取向分散于玻璃基体中,具有偏光性能的一种玻璃基复合材料。偏光玻璃具有非常优异的近红外光学性能,在光隔离器、光存储、光传感、光开关及其他光偏器件领域中有着极其重要的应用。通过对偏光玻璃的起偏机理、制备工艺、性能测试及实际应用进行系统阐述,提出了国内偏光玻璃产品研发面临的挑战。
Polarizing glass is a kind of glass matrix composite material with polarizing properties by dispersing metal nanorods in the glass matrix in the same orientation.Polarizing glass shows excellent nearinfrared optical properties,and has been applied in the fields of optical isolators,optical storage,optical sensing,optical switches and other optical polarizing devices.The research status of polarizing glass for optical communication at home and abroad is comprehensively described by analyzing the characteristics,preparation and application of polarizing glass.The challenges faced by the research and development of polarizing glass products in China are introduced.
