Objective To discuss the effect of early acupuncture and moxibustion and rehabilitation treatment on limb function of patients with acute ischemic stroke. Methods A total of 60 patients with acute ischemic stroke were divided into observation group and control group according to random numerical table, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received conventional rehabilitation treatment, and the observation group received early acupuncture and moxibustion on the basis of the control group. Both groups were compared in terms of therapeutic effect, and the National Institutes of Health stroke scale(NIHSS)score,36-item short-form health survey(SF-36)score,and Barthel index(BI)score before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate of treatment 93.3%in the observation group was higher than 73.3%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,NIHSS score(8.0±1.1)points of the observation group was lower than(9.2±1.4)points of the control group, and SF-36 score(88.3±9.2)points and BI(80.3±10.3)points were higher than(80.5±8.0)and(62.4±9.5)points of the control group. All the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Early acupuncture and moxibustion and rehabilitation treatment have a significant effect on patients with acute ischemic stroke, which can help improve the limb function and quality of life of patients, and has high application value.
