摘要
口蹄疫(FMD)是一种具有全球社会经济影响的高度传染性牲畜疾病.这种疾病通过降低牲畜存活力对农民造成经济影响,同时由于动物和动物制品贸易限制措施给国家和社会也带来了极大的损失.疫苗接种预防口蹄疫已经长达70多年并且得到广泛应用,但是全球大部分地区病情仍具有地域性.口蹄疫长期存在的一部分原因是当前疫苗的技术限制,同时也存在许多社会经济因素.因此,加强对口蹄疫疾病的预防与控制就变得尤其重要.通过对口蹄疫病毒及其特点的综合描述,探讨口蹄疫的综合诊断方法以及相应的口蹄疫疫苗技术,并通过对防治口蹄疫疾病提出有效的措施,以便有效强化对口蹄疫疾病的安全管理.
Foot-and-mouth disease(FMD)is a highly-contagious livestock disease with global socioeconomic effects.The disease impacts both farmers through reduced herd viability and nations through trade restrictions of animals and animal derivatives.Vaccines for FMD prevention have existed for over 70 years and been widely used,yet the disease remains enzootic in a large percentage of the globe.FMD persistence is due in part to technical limitations of current vaccine technologies,as well as many socioeconomic barriers.Therefore,strengthening the prevention and control for FMD is particularly important.Through a comprehensive description of FMD virus and its characteristics,this paper will discuss the comprehensive diagnosis methods of FMD and its vaccine technology,and propose effective measures to combat FMD in order to effectively strengthen the FMD management.
