摘要
数字化转型是目前零售业面临的主题,数字化正逐步改变企业的资源能力体系和价值创造模式。本文基于中国4家代表性新零售企业的多案例研究,提出了一个数字化转型机制的解释框架。研究发现,数字化能力和价值创造能力是企业数字化转型机制的核心:既要重点提高数字化基础设施构建与应用、数字化治理和数字化陷阱跨越等能力为核心的数字化能力,也要重点拓展基于数字消费者、数字生产要素和数字生态的价值创造及价值获取能力。本文从两种能力视角丰富了数字化转型研究,增强了理论的解释力;同时,运用多案例将以往集中于零售业的研究拓展到品牌商和平台,研究全行业、全产业链数字化背景下零售的数字化转型机制。研究结论有助于零售数字化转型机制的理论创新,对解决零售数字化转型实践中"转型找死、不转型等死"的现实难题具有启示意义。
Digital transformation is the topic of the retail industry at present.Digitalization is gradually changing the resource capability system and value creation mode for enterprises.Based on a multi-case study of four representative new retail enterprises in China,it proposed a framework to explain the digital transformation mechanism.Digital ability and value creation ability are the core issues of digital transformation mechanism of enterprises.Digitalization ability should focus on improving the ability of digital infrastructure construction,application and digitalization governance,and avert digitalization trap and bridge digital application gap.Value creation ability should focus on expanding capabilities based on digital consumers,digital production factors and digital ecosystem.On one hand,it enriches the research perspective of digital transformation and enhances the explanatory power of theory.On the other hand,by using multi-case analysis,it extends the previous retail-centered research to entities such as digital platforms,manufacturing enterprises and vertically-integrated enterprises.The conclusion contributes to the theoretical innovation of the mechanism of retail digital transformation,and has enlightening implications to the solution of the practical problem of“transforming is suicidal,but not transforming is waiting to die”in retail digital transformation.
