The types of chemical synthesis and blend thermoplastic elastomers,market profile,industrialization progress and the latest research directions were reviewed.New types of thermoplastic elastomer products such as silicone thermoplastic elastomers,polyolefin elastomers,bio-based TPE,and degradeable TPE,and so on.were also introduced.The performance and market development were discussed as well.Furthermore,the application fields and the industrialization development of the new thermoplastic elastomers were predicted.
