摘要
2020年香港中学文凭考试历史科有一道试题因导向性错误而被取消。对香港考试及评核局因取消该题而拟定的分数调整方法进行评析,认为这一分数调整方法的公平性值得商榷。在此基础上,提出其他分数调整方法并加以讨论,认为适当向低位倾斜选取临界排位值是最佳解决方法,既不影响考生的等级排位,也符合该项考试最初确定的分数评级原则。
The Hong Kong Examinationsand Assessment Authority(HKEAA)announced the invalidation of a question in the 2020 HKDSE History examination which does not meet the principle of the HKDSE of ensuring a fair assessment.A mark adjustment mechanism is also followed.With a brief review on the grading principle of the HKDSE,this article commented on the fairness of the mark adjustment mechanism.Some alternative adjustment procedures are also presented.The one by adjusting the cut percentile of the levels is considered optimal in the situation,as it does not change the ranking of the examinees and is consistent with the grading principle of the HKDSE.
