摘要
ICESat-2作为当今最先进的测高卫星之一,相比ICESat卫星,在荷载设备、算法模型和测距精度等诸多方面有了很大的提升。整体性能的完善使得ICESat-2在极地冰盖和海冰的监测、内陆水文变化和森林树冠高以及生物量预估等领域的科学研究和实际生产应用中具有广阔前景。重点从ICESat-2荷载仪器、改进技术、数据产品进行了详细介绍。分析和总结了ICESat-2在冰盖、海冰、地形与树冠高、内陆水等诸多领域的最新应用研究进展以及初步验证的观测精度和可靠性,并对ICESat-2未来应用进行了展望。
As one of the most advanced laser altimetry satellites,ICESat-2,compared with its predecessor,has a great improvement in load equipment,algorithm model and ranging accuracy.The improvement of the overall performance makes ICESat-2 a promising prospect for scientific research and practical application in the fields of polar ice cap and sea ice monitoring,inland hydrological changes,forest canopy height and biomass estimation.This paper describes the detailed introduction of ICESat-2 load instrument,technical improvement and data products,introduces the latest research progress of ICESat-2 application in ice sheet,sea ice,terrain and canopy height,inland water and other fields;analyzes the observation accuracy and reliability of preliminary verification,and discusses potential application and development of ICESat-2 in the future.
