摘要
犯罪与年龄有着密切关系。美国联邦调查局的《犯罪统一报告》的统计表明,在大部分犯罪中,50%左右的被逮捕人年龄不足三十岁。这种现象可以从年轻人的社会关系、认知水平和身体发育等多方面寻找原因,而年龄—犯罪曲线的变化也跟犯罪类型和时代原因有关。年龄—犯罪曲线在青少年之后呈下降并趋于平缓趋势,但仍有较多人的犯罪曲线直到老年后才下降。
Crimes are closely related with the ages. According to the statistics in the Uniform Crime Reports by FBI of the United States, 50% of the arrested persons are less than 30 in the most crimes. This phenomenon can be explained by young men’s social relations, cognitive level, physical development and other aspects. Besides, the change of ages-crimes curve is also related with crime types and times. The ages-crimes curve tends to gentle after the period of adolescence, though for most people, the crime curve drops till they are old.
