A one-dimensional fluid simulation software Flowmaster was used to simulate the pump-valve control mode for the centralized heating system with zero-pressure difference point.Through the rule of flow changes of the typical heat transfer station,of water pressure changes during the process of dynamic simulation,as well as the dynamic simulation of switching process of pump-valve in the adjustment of variable zero-pressure-difference-point,we have analyzed and compared the hydraulic characteristics under the adjustment condition between the variable zero-pressure-difference-point and the constant zero-pressure-difference-point.At the same time, the efficiency, power and operating frequency of the main circulating pump and distributed pump before and after the operation are compared and analyzed. The results show that the flow rate of the whole network is flat and the pressure fluctuation of the whole network is small, and the main circulating pump and the distributed pump can be kept in high efficiency, thus making the constant zero-pressure-difference-point operation more energy-efficient along with the simple and easy adjustment method when compared with the variable zero-pressure-difference-point operating conditions.
