Aiming at the electromagnetic nondestructive testing of ferromagnetic material hardness, the analytical mathematics model of differential probe scatter impedance is deduced, which includes complex Bessel function, by the modern electromagnetic theory. Combining impedance analytical function with testing experiment of ferromagnetic material hardness, electromagnetic field mathematics model has built, which is used in rail hardness nondestructive testing. System uncertainty is within the range of 1 HRC.
