摘要
提出一种通过在星型耦合器的网络侧插入光纤布喇格光栅 ,在用户侧增加一个远端转发单元的方法 ,将CSMA/CD用作多址接入协议的半双工EPON接入方案。理论分析与仿真实验表明其性能与 10 0BASE T局域网相当。该方案实现简单 ,成本低廉 ,与现有以太网的体系结构兼容。
We propose and analyze an economical half-duplex high speed Ethernet over PON access system. By inserting a fiber Bragg grate on the feeder fiber before the star coupler and adding a remote forward unit, the distance limit caused by CSMA/CD is reduced with low cost. Both theoretical analyses and simulation show that the throughput of this EPON system is as well as that of semiduplex high speed Ethernet LAN.
