摘要
讨论了多元码可信信息的计算方法 ,提出了一种 RS( Reed-Solomon)码的软判决译码算法。这种译码算法是在计算多元符号的可信信息的基础上 ,依据 Chase译码算法的基本原理 ,将代数译码和码元符号的可信信息相结合 ,并进一步简化了试探错误图样产生方法。最后给出了在 AWGN信道上 ( 1 5,1 1 ,5) RS码的软判决译码算法的计算机模拟结果 。
In this paper, a method of computing reliability information of m ary is discussed, and a soft decision decoding algorithm for reed solomon(RS) codes is suggested. This kind of decoding algorithm is produced on the basis of the computing reliability information of m ary symbols and the basic principle of chase decoding algorithm, which is to combine the algorithm with the reliability information of m ary symbol received further to simplify the test error patterns. Finanlly, this paper presents the computer simulation results on the error performance of the soft decision decoding algorithm for RS(15,11,5) codes over the additive white gaussian noise(AWGN) channel, indicating that the soft decision decoding algorithm is valid.
