Magnetic resonance spectroscopy( MRS) is the only method of in vivo detection of neurometabolites that can detect changes in neurometabolites after severe and light drinking withdrawal. Changes in genetic material after withdrawal is one of the possible mechanisms of the dynamic changes of MRS. Observing the changes of inflammatory cytokines in the blood after withdrawal may indirectly reflect the changes of inflammatory factors in the brain, which can also better explain changes in MRS. In the future we can use the combination of modern genetics methods, blood inflammatory cytokines and MRS,to more accurately determine the dynamic neurometabolites level changes after withdrawal of patients with alcohol abuse, which can also play a predictive role in the patients after withdrawal and health population without physical symptoms and brain structure changes, and provide a reference for further understanding of the biological mechanism of alcohol addiction.
