摘要
高校是科技工作者的聚集地,是培养高素质和创新型人才的主阵地,在推进国家科普事业中拥有至关重要的地位。以南开大学为例,讲述其凭借高校自身优势,充分发挥高校科协的重要作用,突破机构限制,将人才培养、招生宣传、学生社团、科技竞赛、科学研究、科研平台建设与科普工作相结合,将科普工作融入到不同领域和部门,不仅强化了学校师生的科普意识,提升了科普能力,加大了科普工作力度,而且在推进科普事业发展、培养创新型人才和提高公众科学素养方面也取得了显著效果。
Colleges and universities attract scientific and technological workers and train high-quality and innovative talents. They play a very important role in promoting the popularization of science in the country. Taking Nankai University as an example, by virtue of its own advantages, the important role of university association for science and technology is described. The institutional limitations are broken. Personnel training, enrollment, student organizations, science and technology competition, scientific research, scientific research platform construction are united with science popularization which would be combined into different areas and sectors. Not only teachers and students＇ science popularization consciousness, science popularization ability and publicity are strengthened, but also the development of science popularization is enhanced and innovative talents cultivation and the scientific literacy of the public have achieved remarkable results.
