摘要
牙周病是造成成年人失牙的最主要因素。牙周病患牙由于根面牙骨质病变、牙周纤维附着丧失,使牙体失去与牙周组织的连接,最终导致脱落。牙周病的治疗除了清除菌斑牙石、控制炎症,附着丧失的重新获得尤为重要,而牙骨质在这个过程中起关键作用。因此,对牙骨质的研究具有重要意义。文章对牙骨质及其与口腔疾病的关系做一综述。
Periodontal disease is the major cause of tooth loss in adults, causing lesions at the surface of cementum of root, periodontal attachment loss, destroying the connection of teeth and periodontium and eventually leading to tooth loss. Besides removing plaque and calculus and controlling inflammation, it is very important to restore a new attachment. Cementum plays an important role during this restoration. Therefore, a study of cementum is valuable. This article will discuss the role and significance of cementum in oral diseases.
