This paper searched relates documents through the United States IEEE,Pub Med,Medline,Springer LINK those foreign language database and China National Knowledge Infrastructure, combines with the rapidly developing historical background of the sensing technologies and the wireless communication technology as well as the manufacturing technologies around the world. The application prospect that wearable devices intelligent motion detection device used in the evaluation of balance and tread of elderly people as well as fall-down prevention and rehabilitation by using the methods of documentary data are introduced in this paper. The measurement projects, such as the extent of damage of elderly people s balance and tread, the sensibility of the questions of slight balance and tread dandification, the mobile capability test of daily life in community are introduced in this paper. The function of wearable devices in fall-down protection of elderly people is analyzed at the same time.It points out that in the future, physical therapists could use wearable sensors to monitor families' training plans to complete the electronic rehabilitation, which would help improve the elderly's activity quality in the community life.
