摘要
Recent reports from pulmonary arterial hypertension （PAH） registries suggest that the mean age at diagnosis is increasing in a growing proportion of elderly patients. The combination of several reasons such as aging popula- tion, increase in life expectancy, growing PAH awareness of physicians and patients, and availability of more treatment options could explain the changing picture of PAH. PAH should be considered as an emerging entity in the elderly.
