文化“走出去”的投资效应研究:全球1326所孔子学院的数据 被引量:44

Study on Investment Effect of Cultural“Going Ou”:Based on Data from 1326 Confucius Institutes

摘要 文化"走出去"作为中国新时期"走出去"发展战略的重要内容,不仅是国家经济实力增强的必然结果,更是中国"软实力"提升的重要表现。文章以孔子学院作为我国文化"走出去"的代理变量,使用差分GMM和系统GMM两种估计方法对文化"走出去"的投资效应进行实证研究。认为孔子学院作为我国文化"走出去"的最典型代表,虽然以向世界传播中华文化及推广汉语为主要任务,却对我国的对外直接投资产生了很大影响,文化"走出去"表现出显著的投资推动效应,而且这种投资推动效应具有明显的经济差异性和洲际差异性。今后孔子学院应该从以数量扩张为主的外延式发展逐步向以质量提升为主的内涵式发展转型,从而更好地推动中国企业"走出去"。 Cultural output, as the important content of "going out" strategy, is not only the inevitable result of national economic strength, butalso an important manifestation of China's "soft power". This study regards the Confucius Institute as a proxy for China's cultural output and uses differential GMM and sys- tem GMM two estimation methods to test the effect of China's cultural output on investment growth. We believe that the Confucius Instituteis the most typical representative of China's cultural output. Although the main task of the Confucius Institute is to spread Chinese culture and promote Chinese to the world,it produc- es great influence on outward foreign direct investment. Therefore,cultural output shows a significant effect of increasing investment, and theeffect shows obvious economic disparities and intercontinental differences. At present, the cultural output of our country is in the developing stage, and the future development of Confucius Institute should be changed from the quantity development to the quality improvement, so as to better promote Chinese enterprises "going out".
