摘要 根据地理信息系统(GIS)课程的特点和培养GIS专业技术人才的需要,在宁夏大学GIS专业中少数民族学生、民族预科学生比例较大的情况下,提出基于地方特色专题应用的GIS课程实践教学模式。在GIS专业选修课Arc GIS软件应用课程中应用该方法组织课程的实践教学内容,对教学组织,考核等进行教学实践环节探索研究,设计凸显地方特色的退耕还林还草规划、黄土高原丘陵沟壑区侵蚀沟道分析等综合专题,强调实例对GIS空间分析功能的整合,连贯性。通过GIS专业2009级、2010级、2011级三个班级Arc GIS软件应用课程的的实践教学改革,学生在专题中学习Arc GIS的应用模块,理解GIS原理;通过综合实例的环节,设计分析有趣的空间问题,调动学生学习兴趣、提高学生创新能力和参与性,取得良好的教学效果,为本专业学生成长为专业技术人才起到积极作用。 Based on the course characteristics of the geographic information system( GIS) and the needs of GIS professional and technical personnel,in the major of GIS in Ningxia University where minority students and ethnic preparatory students have a larger proportion,the paper puts forward the method of GIS teaching reform based on local characteristics. In the application of Arc GIS software in GIS professional elective course,we combined with the teaching content to organize students to explore practical teaching contents,such as the local characteristics of the returning farmland to forest planning,hilly gully region of Loess Plateau gully erosion analysis integrated projects. In the practice of teaching reform of Arc GIS software application course for GIS professional 2009 level,2010 level,2011 level of three classes,we applied module to educate students to learn Arc GIS in these topics. Through a comprehensive example,we require students to make their own analysis of the spatial problems. These measures arouse the students ' interest and improve students' innovation ability,and got good teaching effect. It plays a positive role in the growth of students to the professional and technical persons.
