摘要
随着人类社会由工业时代步入信息时代,在教育领域,信息技术及其广泛应用正在引发人类历史上教育的第四次革命。与以往历次革命一样,第四次教育革命也将是一个漫长的发展过程。在经历过以程序教学、广播电视教育和多媒体教学等为代表的电化教育阶段以及以计算机辅助教学、网络教育和数字校园等为代表的数字教育阶段之后,第四次教育革命正在向智慧教育阶段演变。智慧教育是基于移动互联与应用、物联网、云计算与服务、大数据分析等新一代信息技术而构建的新型教育生态系统,包括基础支撑系统、智慧教育环境、智慧教育资源、智慧教育管理、智慧教育服务等子系统。智慧教育既是第四次教育革命的最新发展态势,也是这场革命的重要推动力量。
Information technology and its broad application have generated a fourth educational revolution as human society transits from industrial age to information age. As the previous transformations, the fourth instructional change will undergo a long pro-cess of developments. After the audio-visual education stage represented by programmed teaching, radio and television instruction and multi-media teaching and the digital education age represented by computer-aided teaching, online education and digital campus, smart education has witnessed the fourth pedagogical transformation in human world. Smart education develops on information technol-ogy typified by Internet of things, cloud computing and big data, and has promised a new form of educational ecology, including rudi-mental support system, smart education environment, resources, management and service systems. It ’s both the new stage of develop-ment in the arena of human education and the driving force of the fourth educational revolution.
