摘要
以滇产纳罗克非洲狗尾草种子为研究对象,采用去除稃片、擦破种皮和去除种壳的机械方法处理种子,借助于吸水称重法和呼吸速率法检测种壳透性,并通过MS培养基离体培养检测种胚萌发性,结果表明:纳罗克非洲狗尾草种子的种壳(含种皮)对其种子透水、透气均有很强的阻碍作用,种子萌发存在着种壳(含种皮)障碍;种胚(带胚乳)存在着休眠特性;其种子休眠属于综合性休眠。在种子收获60d后,种胚休眠开始释放,至180d释放完毕;在种子收获210d后,种壳已基本失去对种子萌发的束缚作用,其休眠期至少为210d。
Setaria sphacelata cv.Narok is one of the backbone grasses applied in forage production and envi-ronmental protection in southern China.However,the low seeds production,poor seeds quality,and deep dor-mancy seriously restrict the extension of this grass.The paper used the water absorption weighting method and respiratory rate method to test the seeds shell permeability,and MS culture medium used to test embryo germi-nation of Narok seeds.The results showed that the body shell of seed (including seed coat)inhibit permeabiliza-tion and breathability of seed.Embryo also had the comprehensive dormancy,but the mechanism of dormancy was not clear.After 60 days of seeds harvesting and storage,most embryos begun to release their dormancy,and all released until 180 days.After 210 days of seeds harvesting and storing,the body shell almost lost the binding effect on seed germination.Therefore,the period of Narok seed dormancy was at least 210 days.
