摘要
为实现发动机连杆在挤压铸造生产过程中的精确控制,利用ProCAST软件对其挤压充型与凝固过程进行了数值模拟。通过在传统压铸模拟方法的基础上增加压力补缩、排气模型的设置,更准确地模拟了发动机连杆挤压铸造充型和凝固的过程,对金属液充型状况、液流的速度矢量场、温度场的分布情况进行了研究,为实际生产确定了充型和凝固时间参考,预测和分析了可能出现的缩松缩孔及气孔缺陷,并提出了消除缺陷的解决措施。将此模拟的分析结论应用到实践中,可优化挤压铸造过程,提高产品质量。
In order to realize the precise control for squeeze casting process of engine connecting rod, the numericalsimulation was conducted on filing and solidification process by sottware of ProCAST. The filling condition and velocity fieldand temperature of the molten metal were studied by adding feeding setting and venting setting on the basis of the traditionalnumerical simulation for die-casting process, and the filling and solidification process of squeeze casting for engine connectingrod were more closely simulated, and the feeding and solidification reference time for actual production were determined.Furthermore, the shrinkage porosity and gas holes defects generating in the casting were forecasted, and the solutions wereproposed to eliminate the defects. The squeeze casting process is optimized and the quality of the casting is improved when theanalysis of the numerical simulation is applied to practice.
