摘要
针对快速成型机成型空间限制了所能制造零件规模的实际问题 ,提出了一种基于STL文件格式的实体直接分割法 .阐述了基于STL文件格式的实体分割及其相关处理的原理 ,设计了直接分割算法 ,并给出了软件的实现方法 ,使得快速成型系统可以对大型实体进行分步制造 ,扩大了自由制造的适应性 ,改进了快速成型技术的加工工艺 ,提高了制造效率 .
A new way for model dividing which can resolve the problem in the stage of manufacturing is presented in this paper. The principle for dividing solid based on STL file format and its relational management principle are described, and the actual arithmetic is given. That dividing an object whose volume is larger than machine′s moulding dimension can be made. The applicable range of rapid prototyping is broadened, manufacture technique is improved and the efficiency is quickened.
