摘要
随着我国高考改革的推进,高中将不再分文理科,但实施多年的文理分科制度既决定学生高中阶段学习的课程,也限定他们可以选择的大学专业,连接起高中与大学的课程教育,对学生的发展产生影响。但以往研究仅关注文理分科或大学专业的单一作用,并未探讨文理分科与大学专业形成的匹配机制。本文使用"中国教育追踪调查"(Chinese Educational Panel Survey,CEPS)数据,具体分析原有高中文理分科与大学人文社会类专业之间的关系。研究发现,不同专业中文理科学生的学业成绩存在显著差异,但在相同专业中文理分科对就业薪酬没有显著影响,文理分科带来的工资溢价更多地是通过大学专业来体现。同时,研究从专业进入、学业成绩与就业薪酬三个维度度量了专业匹配,发现高中理科与经济学、管理学的匹配程度更高。研究结论可为学生高中选科、大学选专业以及大学专业招生政策的制定提供参考。
With the reform of Gaokao in China,senior high schools will no longer teach through the division of arts and science. The division of arts and science determines the courses of senior high school students and limits the choices of college majors.It connects curricula of high school to the college major and have great impact on students"development.However,there is a lack of empirical research about matching influence of division of arts & science and college major.This paper analyzes the relation of arts & sciences division and humanities & social majors by using the data of Chinese Educational Panel Survey.We find that arts or science students"academic records have significant differences in different majors,but the division of arts and science has no appreciable impact on employment wages in the same major.The role of division to the wage premium are represented through college majors.In addition,we measure the major-matching by using major enrollment,academic record and employment wage.We think science tracking in high school has a higher degree of matching to economics and management.The conclusions can help students to choose curriculum and major,and provide reference for universities.
