照应或所指 (reference)是英语篇章结构中的一种常见现象。运用不当会使读者在理解篇章结构时产生歧义或误解。
Reference is very common in the discourse of the English language. One cause of ambiguity in writing is the use of pronouns without clear referents. The absence of clear referents in discourse may result in reader's incomprehension or misunderstanding. This article is to make a comprehensive analysis of the incorrect use of reference in the discourse of the English language.
