摘要
端粒和端粒酶是近年来生命科学的研究热点之一,端粒酶与肿瘤密切相关,作为特殊的肿瘤标记,已成为抗肿瘤治疗的新靶点。由于造血干细胞的特性,对正常及恶性造血细胞进行端粒-端粒酶的研究可为进一步探讨正常造血细胞的增殖、分化、成熟和凋亡的调控机制,以及恶性血液肿瘤的发病机理提供理论依据,并为临床诊断和抗癌治疗提供新的思路和策略。
It has been becoming one of the spotlights of biological research to study on the telomeres and telomerase. Telomerase has been found closely involved in cancers. It has been regarded as a special marker of malignant tumor cells and has been becoming a new target for cancer chemotherapy. Human hematopoietic stem cells belong to a special group. It seems intriguing to study telomeres and telomerase activity in normal and malignal hematopoietic stem cells. It will help us to understand the mechanism of primitive hematopoietic cells' proliferation, differentiation, maturation and apoptosis, and provide us certain theoretical foundation for researching the pathogenesis and diagnosis of malignant hematopoietic diseases. That would lead us to find a new strategy for antitumor therapy.
