摘要
身体意象是指个体对自身躯体的认知,尤其是个体对自己的身体外貌在他人眼中呈现的意象和他人如何看待自己身体功能的意象。身体意象在心理学研究中具有相应的发展历程和演进模式,社会文化、进化心理、神经与遗传、认知与行为、社会比较等取向也提供了不同视角的理论框架。用社会表征的建构思路讨论身体意象的社会心理学意义,强调个体建构的身体和社会建构的身体有机结合,凸显了身体意象的静态与动态意蕴,强调了身体意象社会表征建构的社会性与互动性。
Body image refers to individual＇ s conception of his own body, especially the individual＇ s awareness of his own physical appearance and his physical function in the eyes of others. Body image has its own process and pattern of development in psychological studies. Sociocultural studies, evolutionary psychology, neurological and genetic stud- ies, cognitive and behavioural studies, and comparative social studies also offer different theoretical frameworks to the study of body image. To study the socio-psychological significance of body image from the perspective of social representative construction can foreground the synergy, made possible by social representation of body image, between the individually constructed body and the socially constructed body, reveal the static and dynamic connotation of body image, and showcase the social and interactive nature of the social representative construction of body image.
