摘要
已有研究表明,城市等级影响服务业的发展。本文研究不同等级城市中影响服务业发展的各项要素的差异,进而总结城市等级与服务业发展之间的关系。基于对1996年至2009年珠三角地区9个城市的研究,本文发现城市等级差异导致服务业的增长速度、服务业对地区经济贡献率,以及服务业内部结构都存在差异。进一步的研究显示:人力资本、本地市场需求、外部投资,以及地方政府的扶持程度等要素对服务业发展均具有正向作用,且不受城市等级差异影响;而劳动力要素和资本要素对服务业发展的影响则因城市等级差异而异。基于上述结果,本文提出了不同等级城市的服务业发展策略。
It is proved that the urban hierarchy is related to the level of service industry development. The paper takes the case of the Pearl River Delta （PRD） to study the diversity of several factors that affected the service industry development under the different hierarchy cities, and the relationship between the urban hierarchy and the developing level of service industry furthermore. Firstly, the paper divides the nine cities of the region into three categories by some economic index, and then analyzes the difference of the services devel- opment between various classes of cities. It can be found that cities belonged to different category will have dif- ferent services development characters. Then, according to the panel data analysis to the nine cities in the PRD, it is found that human resource, local demand, outbound investment and government support are the factors playing positive role for the service industry development, which would not be affected by the urban hierarchy. And the influence by the service industry employees and capital investment would be different by the urban hierarchy. Finally, the suggestions to service industry development in different class of cities are put forward.
