The Principle of the Transmission Design of the Ball Reducer

摘要 本文介绍了在以标准滚珠作为活齿的活齿传动机构中,采用直线近似齿廓代替理论齿廓的传动设计原理,论述了实际齿廓即直线近似齿廓对理论齿廓的拟合程度及采用实际齿廓后传动的平稳性。采用标准滚珠及实际齿廓的滚珠减速器的最大特点是仅用通用设备即可加工生产,加工工艺极为简便,制造成本较低,可广泛用于机械传动。 This paper introduces the principle of the transmission design which uses straight approximate tooth profile taking the place of theoretical tooth profile in the transmission mechanism of the movable tooth which uses standard balls and discusses the fitting degree of practical tooth profile, i. e., straight approximate tooth profile, and the transmission stability with using practical tooth profile. The advantage of the ball reducer which uses standard ball and practical tooth profile is that the ball reducer can be made only using general-purpose machine tool and the working technology is very simple, the production cost is very cheap. The ball reducer can be widely used in mechanical transmission and save effort.
