摘要
南社及其成员的活动,在中国近现代史和文学史上产生过很大的影响,发挥过重要的作用。镇江的南社成员也不少,他们或以同盟会员的身份,或以当地文人的角色加入南社,在推翻满清统治、鼓吹辛亥革命、宣传爱国文学方面发挥了积极的作用。
South Society and its member＇s activities made important impact on modern and contempora- ry Chinese history and history of literature. South Society had many members from Zhenjiang who joined it as members of the United League of China or the local scholars. They played a positive role in overthrowing the rule of the Qing Dynasty, advocating Chinese Revolution of 1911 and promoting pa triotic literature.
