摘要
The crude steel output of China exceeded 100 million tons in 1996. From then on, thanks to the rapid development of the national economy, China' s steel output continuously grew to 695.5 million tons, while the actual capacity is more than 800 million tons annually. In recent years, due to the impact of the international financial crisis, China's iron and steel industry has entered the era of meager profit. Rapid development of the iron and steel industry has been restricted by the rising prices of raw materials and increasingly strict environmental protection laws and regulations. The severe market situation forced iron and steel enterprises to transform from capacity expansion to the promotion of internal restructuring, so that sustainable development can be ensured through technological innovations.
