摘要
科技与战争的关系问题是科学社会学与科学、技术与社会(STS)中的重要问题之一。科技进步与战争演变的历时研究表明,在人类历史上的大部分时期,科技与战争都是紧密合作、携手并进的。战争是科技的"催化剂",不仅刺激、制约与促进科技研发与应用的方向、目的和资源,而且是科技的试验场,还促成了国家组织的科研工作。同时,科技是战争的巨擘,不仅是战争的动力源,而且预示未来战争的走向。科技与战争的"联姻"与"联动"致使人类在享受科技所带来的福祉的同时,也要忍受战争所造成的残酷后果。
The relationship between the war and science-technology is one of the significant problems both in the scientific sociology and in STS.The history of the scientific and technological progress and war shows that science and technology and war are close co-operative and go forward hand in hand in most period of history.War is a＂catalyst＂of science and technology.Not only does it stimulate,constraint and promote the orientation,objectives,and resources of research and development of science and technology,but also become＂proving ground＂of science and technology,and also contributes to scientific research of national organizations.At the same time,science and technology is a giant of the war.Not only is it source of war,but also presages the future trend of the war.The marriage of science and technology and war causes human being to enjoy the welfare that the progress of science and technology brings about,and at the same time endure the cruel consequence that war brings about.
