摘要
为了探究关系嵌入性对企业技术创新绩效的作用规律,促进中国本土制造企业整合利用网络资源,提升学习能力与创新水平,文章围绕"关系嵌入性如何影响技术创新绩效"这一基本问题进行了实证研究。在理论预设基础上,通过对5个中国制造企业的案例内分析与案例间分析,探讨和考察了关系嵌入性如何通过影响企业的探索型学习进而影响其技术创新绩效,并由此提出了10个命题,构建了关系嵌入性影响企业技术创新绩效的理论框架。研究发现,全球制造网络中的企业间信任、信息共享与共同解决问题能通过促进企业的新知识获取和新知识利用,进而提升企业的技术创新绩效。
In order to facilitate Chinese firms to integrate and utilize network resources to improve their learning capabilities and innovation performances, and then to upgrade in global manufacturing networks, this paper aims to answer the basic question of "how relational embeddedness influences technological innovation performance". Based on literature review, this paper brings forward a primary theoretical supposition. Then it explores and examines how relational embeddedness influences firm' s technological innovation perform- ance through its explorative learning from a survey of 5 Chinese manufacturing firms. From in - depth interviews and second - hand in- formation, relational embeddedness is investigated from three dimensions: trust, information sharing and joint problem solving; and explorative learning is measured by knowledge acquisition and application. Through within - case analysis and cross - case analysis, this paper proposes 10 hypotheses and puts forward a theoretical framework about how relational embeddedness impacts a firm' s technological innovation performance: Firm' s relational embeddedness has a positive effect on its technological innovation performance, which acts indirectly through the mediating role of explorative learning.
