摘要
提高高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)对气体、水蒸气及一些化学溶剂阻隔性能的主要方法是将其与高阻隔材料或无机纳米粒子共混,通过控制加工工艺改变HDPE分子取向或加入成核剂改善结晶形态与分布,对HDPE制品表面化学处理等。其中,与高阻隔材料共混比较常见,可将对油渗透率降低98%之多,在汽车油箱上有很重要的应用。其他方法可以提高对氧气或者水蒸气的阻隔性能,在食品包装领域应用广泛。
Major methods for improving the barrier properties of high density polyethylene(HDPE) against oxygen, water vapor and organic solvent involve compounding HDPE with materials possessing high barrier performance or inorganic nano fillers, changing molecular orientation of HDPE through processing control or improving crystal morphology and distribution by adding nucleating agents, and treating the surface of HDPE products with chemicals. Among them, the first method is extensively employed in many fields, e.g., the application in gasoline tanks of autos, which can reduce gas permeability by 98%. The other methods which may benefit the barrier properties against oxygen and water vapor are widely used in the field of tood packing.
