摘要
本文详细地描述了战后菲律宾农业技术变革及相应制度建设的情况,以及它们之间的动态作用过程。本研究发现,菲律宾在20世纪60、70年代所取得的农业成就很大程度上得益于早期政府对基础设施的投资和技术研发的支持。然而,从长期看,菲律宾政府支持农业技术研发的政治意愿并不高,导致相应的制度建设扭曲,从而造成了长期农业发展的不乐观。
This paper gives a detailed description of Philippine agricuhural technological change and relevant institution construction, as well as the dynamic interaction between them, in the Post-War era. The agricultural achievements in 1960s and 1970s were largely due to the earlier government＇s investment in infrastructure and sup- port for technology research and development. However, in the long term, Philippine government has little political will in supporting technology research and institution construction, with the result of weak performance in long-run agricultural development.
