Analysis of epidemiological characteristics of severe and fatality cases with hand-foot-mouth disease between 2009 and 2010 in Bao'an District of Shenzhen City

摘要 目的分析2009-2010年深圳市宝安区手足口病(hand-foot-mouth disease,HFMD)重症及死亡病例流行病学特征和主要危险因素。方法对2009-2010年报告的宝安区手足口病重症和死亡病例资料进行描述性分析,对51例重症患者进行流行病学调查。结果 2009-2010年宝安区共报告手足口病3 967例,发病率为58.7/10万,重症51例,死亡2例,重症病死率为3.9%。全区10个街道均有重症病例报告。各街道之间重症病例发生率的差异无统计学意义。时间分布上看4~9月份为手足口病发病高峰期。重症病例年龄分布在幼儿的各个年龄段。对50份样本进行检测,肠道病毒71型阳性率为82.0%。结论手足口病严重威胁宝安区幼儿的身体健康,重症病例病情进展快,病死率高。对手足口病患儿应提高警惕,及早救治。 Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristic and risk factors of severe and fatality cases of hand-foot-mouth disease (HFMD) in Bao'an District. Methods 51 severe and 2 fatality cases HFMD cases were investigated between 2009 and 2010 in Bao' an District. Data and characteristics of all the cases were analyzed by SPSS 11.5 software. Results Among the 3 967 HFMD cases, the incidence rate was 58.7/100 000. The incidence rate of severe cases was 1.3 %. 2 cases died with the fatality rate of 3.9 %. The severe cases of HFMD were reported in every counties and districts. The peak of severe HFMD was from April to September. 50 specimens were detected. The positive rate of EV71 was 82.0%. Conclusions The prevalence of HFMD was serious. The children aged less than 5 should be given more attention and treated timely.
