摘要
如何提高初中学生的英语阅读能力是英语教学中的重要内容。以英语阅读、教学模式与有效教学为切入点,通过论证三者关系,剖析了初中英语阅读低效的现状及其原因,提出了适合初中英语阅读有效教学的两个基本途径,即以学生为中心和以阅读为中心的教学模式。
How to improve the English reading ability of junior middle school students is an important aspect of English teaching.By analyzing the relations among English reading,teaching mode and effective teaching,this paper states the current situation of junior students＇performance in reading and the reason for their poor performance.It puts forward two ways of teaching junior English reading：＂student-centered＂ and ＂reading-centered＂modes.
