摘要
我国台湾地区的技术学院改名升格为科技大学,除了能减少创建新学校的教育投资、提升实用专业人才素质、增强技职教育质量、解决专科生盲目升本问题,也能打通技职体系学生的升学通道;同时,技术学院升格为科技大学后在生源、教育质量、学校发展定位等方面也出现了一些问题。台湾的这些经验和教训对内地高职教育发展具有一定的借鉴作用。
In Taiwan of China, many technical colleges have been upgraded to universities of science and technology in 1990s, and it has produced various advantages as well as some problems. On one hand, it has reduced the educational in- vestment on building new schools, improved the quality of professional talents and that of the vocational and technical education, and resolved the problem that the technical school students＇ aimlessly enter into university, and provide an effective and efficient way for the further education of technical ＇college students; on the other hand, it also faced with many new problems in the aspects of student source, teaching quality and school development direction after upgrading. The experiences and lessons of Taiwan has significant reference for development of higher vocational education in the mainland.
