Objective To explore the correlation between the C-reactive protein(CRP),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c) with the index of ankle brachial artery(ABI).Methods 205 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus hospitalized for clinical parameters according to the conventional methods were checked by detection and chest X-ray,abdomen B-sonography,double lower limbs vascular sufficiency, electrocardiogram, electromyography examination, and the detection of patients with the ABI,and possible influential factors were analyzed. Results There were significant difference with the 2-hr plasma glucose(2hPG),cholesterol(TC),high-density lipoprotein(HDL-c),apolipoprotein A(APOA),apolipoprotein B(APOB),lipoproteins A(LPa),smoking, blood serum uric acid(UA) in various gender(P〈0.05).Single factor analysis result showed:in male patients,ABI and CRP presented negative correlation(r=-0.241,P=0.029),in female patients,CRP and ABI had no correlation in age above of 60 years patients with ABI correlations between CRP,during the course of 1.25~6.00 years, visible ABI and CRP had negative correlation.Partial correlation analysis showed that:in the control of age, gender, duration, and 2hPG,CRP and ABI presented negative correlation(r=-0.337,P=0.003),but has not seen the HbA1c and ABI correlativity. Conclusion In type 2 diabetes patients CRP and ABI exists negative correlation,we should pay close attention to the two indexes to change in treatment and prognosis.
