摘要
《红楼梦》叙事有神话与现实两个层面,但当作整体看。整体看《红楼梦》是女娲炼石神话的续篇,一部从天上延伸到人间的"新神话"。"新神话"是对人间"乐事"的考验,"考验"的中心是"情",结论是人生如梦,情缘皆幻。为行此"考验",《红楼梦》中除仙人、仙事、仙境的直写之外,其人间描写的环境也属"幻境",人事的描写也"偶见鹘突",人物的设计也属"幻形",非如读者通常认为的"真的人物",而是为"谈情"所"特制",是理念化、道具化和模式化的,不可以仅从现实主义的角度理解把握这部作品。把《红楼梦》作为艺术看,过去以《红楼梦》所写为"宝、黛爱情悲剧"与"贾府兴衰"的几乎公认的看法肯定是片面甚至歪曲的,应当予以纠正。
The Chinese classical novel Dream of Red Mansions has two narratives.One is mythological,the other is realistic.However,it is usually treated as a whole and considered as a sequel to a Chinese classical myth about sky goddess(Nvwa),a sort of new myth extending from the heaven to the earth.The new myth is a kind of examination on earthly matters with its focus 'love',and the theme can be summarized as that life is a dream and love is a fantasy.From this perspective,the novel should not only be comprehended in terms of realism.Thus the universally recognized viewpoint that the novel focuses on the love tragedy between the two protagonists Jia Baoyu and Lin Daiyu and the rise and fall of the Jia Family is one-sided or even distorted and should be corrected.
