摘要
运用商业流体计算软件ANSYS CFX,研究了阻流阴极铝电解槽熔体流场分布,分析了阻流阴极能够提高电解槽磁流体稳定性、降低极距的原因。数值模拟结果表明,阻流阴极电解槽铝液平均流速较传统电解槽降低了60%,电解质平均流速降低了40%;两相稳态界面向上隆起量和向下凹陷量之间的差值减小1cm,界面变形趋于平缓。
By employing the commercial CFD code ANSYS CFX,the flow field of aluminium reduction cell with metal flow retarded cathodes was studied and the reason of how metal flow retarded cathodes can improve MHD stability,reduce inter-polar distance was analyzed.The simulation results show that compared to the traditional cathode cell,the metal retarded cathode cell has a decrease about 60%,40% respectively in averaged velocity of the metal and the electrolyte,and a decrease about 1cm between the maximum upheaval and the minimum depression at the two-phase interface,which has a much flatter interface profile.
