This essay aims to introduce the suggestion and the experience of using the appointment system of a general hospital in a second-tier city.And a conclusion has been made that general hospital of second-tier cities should implement the appointment systems as soon as possible in the development of informationization,and should pay attention to handling the relationships between the patients who have made appointment already and the ones queuing.And the requirement of credit guarantee system is thought to be lowered in a certain way when the appointment is started to develop.
