摘要
目的探讨MMP-13和MMP-14蛋白在脊索瘤中的表达及其意义。方法应用组织芯片结合免疫组化方法对47例脊索瘤患者的肿瘤和瘤旁正常组织的MMP-13和MMP-14蛋白表达进行检测。结果 MMP-13和MMP-14在脊索瘤肿瘤组织内阳性表达率分别为82.98%和76.59%,显著高于正常组织中的表达(5.26%和21.05%)。MMP-13与MMP-14阳性表达存在正相关关系。MMP-14蛋白在脊索瘤组织中的阳性表达率与脊索瘤发生的年龄相关。MMP-13、MMP-14蛋白表达阳性的脊索瘤患者较MMP-13、MMP-14蛋白表达阴性者的无瘤生存期短。结论 MMP-13和MMP-14蛋白表达改变可能与脊索瘤的发生机制有关,也可促进脊索瘤的侵袭性生长。MMP-13、MMP-14蛋白是影响脊索瘤预后的重要因素。
Objective To explore the expression and significance of matrix metalloproteinase 13(MMP-13)and matrix metalloproteinase 14(MMP-14)in chordoma.Methods Pari-tumor and cancerous tissues from 47 patients with chordoma were analyzed by immunohistochemistry methods on tissue microarray.Results The positive rate of MMP-13 and MMP-14 protein in cancerous tissues was 82.98% and 76.59%,significantly higher than that in nomal tissue(5.26% and 21.05%).Positive correlation could be observed between MMP-13 and MMP-14 expression.MMP-14 expression was associated with age.Non-tumor survival periods of positive expression of MMP-13,MMP-14 was less than that of negative expression of MMP-13,MMP-14.Conclusion High expression of MMP-13 and MMP-14 protein in chordoma may be very important in carcinogenesis and invasion of chordoma,and MMP-13,MMP-14 proteins are important factors influencing chordoma prognosis.
